It has been a LONG TIME since I posted a YouTube video, but I wanted to come out of retirement after posting my previous Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer post. I went back and forth in reading my own content and I just didn’t feel that words justified how amazing the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer truly is, nor did it show the final result! I quickly grabbed my camera, camera man (loving boyfriend Daniel), and out of nowhere, I was filming a new video after a 6 – month hiatus. Behind the Scenes:
I am going to be bluntly honest, I was so nervous! Despite not filming for more than half a year, I couldn’t do this video on my own and needed my boyfriend, Daniel, to film me. I don’t know about you, but I was PETRIFIED knowing my boyfriend could potentially judge my content, especially since he was right THERE! Anyway, I digress.
I swallowed my nervous pride and told Daniel to record. Little did I know the A/C turned on… the video sounded like we were in a cave! The video was mostly to show a demo on how to use the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer, not create a video worthy of an Oscar; moral of the story for those of you who film your own content and for myself, always check your surroundings before clicking record and make sure there aren’t any potential mishaps that could ruin all the hard effort you put into your video.
Despite all the things stacked up against me, my boyfriend managed to showcase to me that I have nothing to worry and to stick to my guns no matter how many imperfections I see coming into fruition. I took a deep breath and can honestly say, after that pep talk, I think I did my hair better than a typical salon!
